During this session, Jan Visser (Dutch Industrial Liaison Officer for CERN & Einstein Telescope & Nikhef) will explain more about his role and how he links fundamental research to practical applications.

NIKHEF is the Dutch National Institute for Subatomic Physics. The institute performs research into the elementary building blocks of our Universe, their mutual forces and the structure of space and time.

ARCNL

Light, light, and more light!
ARCNL (Advanced Research Center for Nanolithography) operates as a scientific startup. They focuse on fundamental physics and chemistry in the context of technologies for (nano)lithography, primarily for the semiconductor industry.

CWI (Centrum Wiskunde&Informatica)
